Job Title: Restaurant Steward
Job Summary:
The Restaurant Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in the kitchen and dining areas. This includes cleaning dishes, utensils, and equipment, assisting kitchen staff with basic tasks, and ensuring a hygienic environment that supports smooth restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, cutlery, kitchen equipment, and utensils.

Keep the kitchen, pantry, and service areas clean and organized at all times.

Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation and storage when required.

Dispose of waste properly and maintain cleanliness in garbage areas.

Refill cleaning supplies and assist in inventory management.

Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards set by the restaurant.

Support the service team by ensuring clean tableware and sufficient stock of kitchen tools.

Report any maintenance or equipment issues to the supervisor immediately.
