Job Title: Executive Chef – Bakery

Job Summary:
The Executive Chef – Bakery is responsible for overseeing all bakery operations, including product development, daily production, quality control, and kitchen management. This role ensures that all baked goods meet the highest standards of taste, presentation, and consistency while maintaining cost efficiency and team productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and execute bakery menus and seasonal product lines.

• Supervise daily bakery operations, including bread, pastries, desserts, and specialty cakes.

• Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.

• Train, lead, and motivate the bakery team to ensure consistency and excellence.

• Manage ingredient inventory, ordering, and cost control to minimize waste.

• Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards.

• Experiment with new recipes, techniques, and presentation styles to enhance product offerings.

• Collaborate with management on pricing, promotions, and new product launches.

• Oversee kitchen equipment maintenance and cleanliness.

• Maintain detailed records of production schedules, recipes, and quality checks.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts / Bakery & Confectionery.

• 5+ years of experience in professional baking or pastry production (2+ years in a leadership role preferred).

• Strong knowledge of bread, pastry, desserts, and cake preparation.

• Excellent leadership, time management, and communication skills.

• Creativity and passion for developing innovative bakery products.

• Familiarity with HACCP standards and food safety regulations.
